A bargain priced destination. The capital city of Buenos Aires has been likened to the great capital cites of Europe. You get to experience Europe and Latin America all in one place. 

While not as inexpensive to get to from the US as other places in North America, Argentina still presents an very affordable travel option. It is one the four cheapest place in South America to stay and live.  

Two popular trips within Argentina include Iguazu Falls and the far reaches of mountainous Patagonia. The waterfalls at Iguazu are said to an awe inspiring jaw dropping experience for most people. Both are about a 20 hour bus ride away from  Buenos Aires in opposite directions.

Language Classes - Because of the low cost of staying in Buenos Aires, it is a great place to learn Spanish, as well the tango. The language courses net website is a good place to start looking for schools in Buenos Aires or Cordoba. They also have a good overview of VISA information.

Tours - Find and interesting tours of Argentina with golf, culture, air, sightseeing and a wine tour.

When in Buenos Aires, you can easily arrange for tours to anywhere in Argentina. Buses are the most popular method of getting around as are flights for longer distances. Not everyone speaks English so you'll have to find an agent who does. Latour has a Buenos Aires, Iguassu (Iguazu) Falls, Bariloche tour  you can prearrange from home. 

The popular Sheraton Internacional in Iguazu has great views and an excellent buffet. There are also plenty of budget lodgings available in Puerto Iguazu. The whole town is centered around the falls, so you'll be in company with other like minded travelers. There is even gambling there at the Iquazu Grand Hotel & Casino. To find a room at the falls, you can book one from Expedia or Hostelworld.
