Trump Marina Casino Resort - Craps

Craps is a fast action game that offers a large variety of bets.

The Shooter is the person who rolls the dice in an attempt to establish a “Point.” A Point is the total of the uppermost sides of the two dice which results in either 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10. If the Point is repeated prior to a 7 being rolled, the Point is “made” and the Pass Line wager wins. If a 7 is rolled, the Pass Line wager loses. The numbers rolled between the Point and the 7 do not affect the wager on the Pass Line or Don’t Pass Line. But those numbers rolled do affect the outcome of other wagers on the layout. The Come Out Roll is the first roll of a permissible wager to be placed prior to establishing a Come Out Point. The following paragraphs briefly explain the various wagers that may be made in Craps.

A. Pass Line - A bet placed on a Pass Line before the Come Out Roll (the first roll of the dice) wins if a 7 or 11 rolls and loses if a 2, 3 or 12 rolls. If any other number rolls (4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10), it becomes the Point. In order to win the bet the Shooter must repeat that number before a 7 is rolled. If a 7 is rolled before that Point number is rolled, the bet is lost. Pass Line Bets are paid even money. They cannot be placed, reduced or removed after the Point is established.
B. Don't Pass Line - A bet placed on the Don't Pass Line before the Come Out Roll is the opposite of a bet on the Pass Line. The bet loses on the Come Out Roll if a 7 or 11 is rolled, and wins if a 2 or 3 is rolled. If 12 is rolled, (Bar "Two Sixes") the wager becomes void. Any other number rolled becomes the Point. In order to win the bet, which pays even money, the dice must roll a 7 before the Point is repeated. If the Point is repeated before a 7 is rolled the bet loses. Don't Pass Line Bets cannot be placed or increased after a point is established, but may be removed or decreased.
C. Come - Come Bets may be placed anytime after the Pass Line Point is established on the Come Out Roll. The rules concerning the win/loss are the same as the Pass Line. If a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, is rolled immediately after a Come Bet, the Dealer will move the bet to the box of that particular number. This is an even money bet and cannot be reduced or removed after a Point is established for such a bet.
D. Don’t Come – A Don’t Come Bet is opposite of a Come Bet. It may be placed on the Don’t Come anytime after the Don’t Pass Line Point is established (on the Come Out Roll). The rules concerning the win/loss are the same as the Don’t Pass Line, remembering that if a 12 is rolled immediately following placement of such a wager, it becomes void (Bar “Two Sixes”). If a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 is rolled, the Dealer will move the bet to the box behind that particular number. This is an even money bet and cannot be placed or increased, but may be removed or decreased after a Point is established for such a bet.
E. Odds – Once a Point has been established (4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10) an additional bet can be made to the original Pass Line, Don’t Pass Line, Come or Don’t Come Bets. You may take Odds as an additional bet on the Pass Line and Come wagers, you may lay odds as an additional bet of the Don’t Pass Line and Don’t Come Bets. The Odds wager may be reduced or removed at anytime. Come Odds are Off (inactive) on the Come Out Roll but may be call On (active) by the Player. The Don’t Come Odds are ON (active) on the Come Out Roll. Odds Bets are paid at the true mathematical Odds which are listed in the “Table Of Craps Payout Odds.” In addition to Single Odds wagers for the Pass Line, Come, Don’t Pass Line and Don’t Come, the Casino may offer additional allowable Odds.
F. Place Bet – Place Bets To Win may be made at any time and can be placed on any or all the numbers of 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, by the Dealer, at your request. If the selected number is rolled before a 7, the wager wins. If a 7 is rolled, the wager loses. Place Bets may be increased, decreased, removed, or called Off (inactive) at anytime. The Odds payout for Place Bets are listed in the Table of Craps Payout Odds.
G. Buy Bet – Buy Bets are similar to Place Bets. However, the exception is that, at the time the wager is made, a 5% commission (vigorish) is charged on the amount wagered enabling the wager to be paid at true mathematical Odds that are listed in the Table Of Craps Payout Odds. At your request, the Dealer places your wagers on any on or more of the numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10. A Buy button is placed on the chips to denote the Buy Bet. The wagers may be increased, decreased, or removed at anytime and the commission adjusted accordingly each time. Upon collecting the proceeds of a winning Buy Bet, and if it is left there for another wager, you are to pay the 5% commission (vigorish) again because you are making a new wager. All Buy Bets are automatically Off (inactive) on the Come Out Roll, but may called On (active) by the Player.
H. Lay Bet – Lay Bets are the opposite of Buy Bets. If a 7 is rolled before the number on which a Lay Bet is wagered, the wager wins at true Odds. The wager loses if the number on which a Lay Bet is wagered rolls before a 7 is rolled. For a Lay Bet, the 5% commission (vigorish) is charged on the amount the wager could win, (not on the amount wagered as with Buy Bets).
I. Field – Field Bets are one roll wagers that win if a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, or 12 comes up on the next roll of the dice, and loses if a 5, 6,7 or 8 is rolled. The 2 and 12 pay 2 to 1, all the other numbers pay 1 to 1.
J. Hardways – These are bets on any one or all of the Hardways of 4, 6, 8 or 10, that are tolled in pairs. For example, Hardway Four is Two Deuces, Hardway Six is Two Threes, Hardway Eight is Two Fours, and Hardway Ten is Two Fives. When the numbers of 4, 6, 8 or 10 are rolled any other way, it is called an Easyway. For example, Easy Four is rolled 3 and 1, etc. The wager wins   when the number is rolled the Hardway and loses when it is rolled the Easyway or a 7 is rolled. The Hardways are automatically Off (inactive) on the Come Out Roll, but they may be called On or Off at anytime by the Player.
K. Any Seven – A one roll wager that wins only if a 7 is rolled immediately after the wager is made and loses if any other number is rolled.
L. Any Craps – Any Craps is a one roll wager that wins only if any one of the craps numbers 2, 3 or 12 is rolled immediately after the wager is made and loses if any other number is rolled.
M. Craps Two – Craps Two is a one roll wager that wins only if a 2 (Two Aces) is rolled immediately after the wager is made and loses if any other number is rolled.
N. Craps Twelve – A wager on Craps Twelve is a one roll wager that wins only if a 12 (Two Sixes) is rolled immediately after the wager is made and loses if any other number is rolled.
O. Craps Three – A wager on Craps Three is a one roll wager that wins only if a 3 (One-Two) is rolled immediately after the wager is made and loses if any other number is rolled.
P. Eleven – A wager on Eleven is a one roll wager that wins only if an 11 (Five-Six) is rolled immediately after the wager is made and loses if any other number is rolled.
Q. Horn – The Horn is a one roll wager that wins if any one of four numbers 2, 3, 11 or 12 is rolled immediately after the wager is made and loses if any other number is rolled. The Horn Bet is made in units of four, i.e. $4.00 minimum and higher amounts divisible by four. It is treated as four separate bets on 2, 3, 11 or 12 and is paid accordingly.
R. Horn High – Horn High Bet is a one roll wager that wins if any one of the four numbers 2, 3, 11 or 12 is rolled immediately after the wager is made and loses if any other number is rolled. The difference between the Horn and the Horn High is that the Horn High wager is made and paid as if there were five separate, equal until wagers with three of the numbers receiving one equal unit each and the fourth number, the High number, receiving two equal units. Any one of the four numbers can be designated as the High side of the Horn High Bet.
