Caesars Atlantic City Hotel Casino - Keno
The name of Keno was first introduced in China by Cheung Heung over 2,000
years ago. This new form of lottery was created to raise funds for his
province's failing army (with great success we might add). The game also was
used to help fund the "Great Wall". When thousands of Chinese migrated
to the "Old West" in the mid 1800's to work in the mines and on the
railroad, the game quickly spread. This early version was known as the
"Chinese Lottery" and later "KENO". To play Keno, you simply mark from 1 to 20 numbers from a total of 80 numbers on a blank Keno ticket, available in the Keno Lounge and in many public areas. Present this ticket, along with your wager, to a Keno Writer and you will be issued a computerized ticket which you should check for accuracy before the game begins. Each game, 20 of the 80 numbers will be randomly drawn and displayed on the Keno Boards located throughout the main floor. Compare your ticket with the numbers displayed for the game played. If your ticket is a winner, based on the Keno payout schedule, you have 500 games to collect your winnings. Multi-Race Keno allows our guests the extra convenience of playing multiple
games on one Keno Ticket. Simply tell the Keno Writer or Runner that you wish to
play a multi-race ticket. At the conclusion of the last game selected, you claim
your winnings from all the games played. On 21 to 999 game multi-game tickets
you have 360 days to collect. A Keno rate card is available in the Keno Lounges
and in many public areas which lists the payoffs and rules for playing Keno. If
you need additional information, please ask any Keno Writer or Supervisor for
assistance. Caesars Atlantic City Hotel Casino
