Stud Poker
Welcome to the exciting game of Caribbean Stud Poker. This is a new and
exciting game that anyone can learn to play. Caribbean Stud Poker is a five card
stud poker game with a progressive payout feature.
How To Play
Each player must place an ante wager in the ante box prior to the Dealer
announcing, "no more bets." Each player receives five cards face down.
The Dealer gets four cards face down and one card face up. Players then look at
their cards and decide whether to fold (forfeit the Ante), or to make a
"bet" wager in the bet box that is exactly twice the ante. After all
the players have made their decisions, the Dealer then reveals the remaining
four cards.
The dealer must qualify to play with an Ace/King or better. If the dealer
does not have at least an Ace and a King, then the player receives a payout on
the ante bet and the bet wager is a push (no action is taken on the bet wager).
When the dealer's hand qualifies, if the dealer's hand beats the player's, then
the dealer takes both the ante and the bet wager. If the dealer and the player
have the same poker hand, the remaining cards in the hand are taken into
consideration and the highest ranking hand wins. Suits are not counted. If the
dealer's hand and player's hand tie (all five cards are identical in rank), the
ante and bet wagers are pushes and no action is taken. If the player's hand
beats the dealer's hand the ante wager is paid.
Progressive Payout Feature
Upon placing an ante wager, a player may at his or her discretion, place a wager
on the amount on the progressive payout meter by depositing a $1.00 gaming chip
into the acceptor device designated for that player in front of his or her
betting position. Each player shall be responsible for verifying that his or her
respective acceptor light has been properly illuminated.
Regardless of the dealer's hand, if a player has a hand that qualifies him
for the amount on the progressive payout meter and the indicator light is on, he
or she will win the amount appropriate to his or her hand.
Winning progressive payout hands shall be paid in accordance with the amount on
the meter when it is the player's turn to be paid.
However, if more than one player at a table has a Royal Flush progressive
payout hand, each player shall share equally in the amount on the meter when the
first player with a Royal Flush is to be paid.
Rules of the Game
- Players choosing to play the progressive
payout feature are responsible for ensuring that their progressive indicator
light is on.
- Players may not exchange or communicate
information regarding their hands. Any violation will result in a dead hand
and forfeiture of all wagers.
- If any player is dealt an incorrect number of
cards, that player's hand shall be void. If the dealer is dealt four cards
of the five card hand, the dealer shall deal an additional card to complete
the hand. Any other misdeal to the dealer shall result in all hands being
void and the cards shall be reshuffled.
- Only one hand per player.
- In the event two players are dealt a Royal
Flush, they will share in the progressive payout equally.
- Each player who makes a bet wager shall be
responsible for his or her own hand and no other person, other than the
dealer, may touch the cards of that player.
- Each player shall be required to keep the five
cards in full view of the dealer at all times. Once each player has examined
his or her cards and placed them face down on the layout, they may not touch
the cards again.
- If a hole card is exposed prior to the dealer
announcing, "no more bets" all hands shall be void.
