Luxury Dominican RepublicThe Good Life Is Great Here The Dominican Republic is well
known for its popularity as an affordable vacation destination. While
this is certainly true, the Dominican Republic is also home to some of
the most lavish and luxurious resorts and accommodations throughout
the entire Caribbean. As with everything Dominican, passion is put
into the details and when the luxury label is used, you know that it
is beyond imagination. High-end clients vary when it comes to accommodations just as much as the more traditional traveler. Some prefer to kick back at a large resort, surrounded by grand opulence and constant pampering. Other luxury travelers tend to go for the more intimate and private hotel accommodations where they will feel free to enjoy themselves with little distraction from other guests. The Dominican Republic can accommodate all of these choices. Many of the all-inclusive and higher-end resorts offer top-of-the-line room categories and entire wings dedicated to the more luxurious rooms and visitors. Other properties offer private villa accommodations, with private pools, butlers and other services. A third option which is growing in popularity is the boutique hotel; found across the island, these smaller hotels offer elegance and charm in intimate settings without the loud hustle and bustle of the larger resorts. Luxury options can be found in all of the major tourist destinations, including La Romana, Santo Domingo, Punta Cana and along the North Coast. Spa Services Every year, more and more hotels and resorts open and expand their spa services. Visitors from all walks of life are looking for ways to rejuvenate, relax and refocus while on vacations and there is no better way than through some spa treatments while staying in paradise. The hotels and resorts in the Dominican Republic continue to expand these services. Many offer basic massage treatments, but more are beginning to expand into the more exotic treatments involving local plants and ingredients. Whether a travel is looking for a facial, hot-stone massage, herbal wrap or simply a manicure, many of the resort spas await. At all-inclusive resorts, the spa services are usually not included and may feature extra charges.
