A Few Weeks Went By

Well I'll begin to tell you I'm really not much on ghosts meaning I had never seen one, but I love to read about them! 

My parents bought a small farm house in the early eighties and moved in shortly after. It is a peaceful five acres with a white fence around the whole thing. 

My dad soon after moving in told me he felt a presence in the house one that he really couldn't explain, soon after my mother said the same thing. 

A few weeks went by and one evening my folks were just cleaning up after supper when they both saw out of the corner of there eye a figure walk across the kitchen. My folks told me about the sighting so I had to check it out myself, I visited there farm house for dinner one eve and sure enough I witnessed only out of the corner of my eye a moving figure  from one side of the kitchen to the other if you tried to focus on it you couldn't see it. 

I asked the neighbors down the lane who had lived in the old house, they told me a gentle old man lived there most of his life and passed on a few years back. Time went by and everyone got use to the little old man that lived in my parents house. 

The house is rented now but I'm sure there all getting along just fine.
