Red Eyed Ghost

A taxi driver, Bob, was driving along a deserted road. 

There was not a sound except for wolves howling and the engine. Suddenly, the taxi stopped. Bob got down and inspected the engine. He confirmed that the engine was over heated. He surveyed the eerie surrounding. The bright, round moon beamed overhead and there was nothing but a house around there. 

In front of the house was a bare field with a tattered and torn scarecrow in the middle. Bob walked towards the old house, hoping to find somebody to help him. He knocked on the door but there was no answer. He peeped in the keyhole but saw nothing. 

He knocked again. Nevertheless, there was no answer again. He tried the keyhole but this time, he only saw a strange red light, nothing else. This went on for a few times but there was nothing but the red light. 

He got frustrated so he went back to his taxi and fixed it. By the wee hours, he went home. Next day, Bob met a friend and told him about his experience and the old house. Bob told the friend he saw nothing but a red light. 

Bob's friend shuddered and said to him, "I think you have just met a ghost." Bob was taken aback. "Why do you think so?" He asked. "Don't you know all ghosts have red eyes??" said the friend.
