A Ghost Called Sholclain

This is a true ghost story. Its of my friend. His name is William. We lived in the desert city close around El Paso, I don't want to mention the name for legal purposes. Anyway he was a very kind person. But he was very shy and always looking over his back.

One night me and my friend, Tucker, was going to pick him up for a party. He never went to parties. We pulled up to his house and noticed a man standing on his roof. The man wore what looked like an English trench coat and a pilgrims hat. It was very dark so we could not see his face at all.

Me and Tucker just figured it was William. "William what are you doing? Get down from there." I looked at Tucker to comment on the situation when Tucker made a frightening face. I looked back. The man or thing on the roof held out a long broad sword and pointed the tip at us.

Tucker was still frightened, but I sort of thought it was still William. I grabbed my flash light and flashed it at the man. The face was covered with a black cloth and had black goggles on. usually I would have thought nothing of it, but the face had running blood dripping through the cloth.

We got inside the car when the thing jumped off the roof and landed on the hood. I could hear William open the door and scream " Get out of here! He will get you!" I took off. The thing fell of the car. Me and Tucker went a few blocks down. The thing picked William up and they went inside.

The next day we saw William at school. He had a black eye. When he saw us he warned us never to tell the police or anyone about it. we asked him what it was, he told us it was Connager, use ancestor from Scotland. We graduated that year and never saw William again. We knew he moved to Marble Falls, Texas, but he will not let us visit or even answer our calls.

We talked to his grandmother and found out that Connager was a Scottish mercenary and that he was severely burned so he covered his face with black. After that he started killing, one day a car ran him straight over killing him.

I think the ghost haunts William, but for what reason?
