Dook Dook Bird

Well this is a story that a substitute teacher used to tell all of the kids, he even wrote a book about it and took photos.

There was an old story in a village where a Dook Dook Bird lived. It was like the devil and if it appeared in front of you, and you looked into its eyes, you would die straight away. Well it was human height and was covered in feathers, with a beak and those hypnotic eyes that go around and around, (weird, but that's how its described)

The substitute was on a vacation to the place like .....those places where the people live in straw and wood type of huts and wear cloths...I forget the place that its called but it is where the Dook Dook bird lived.

It is known for this certain type of grass that cuts you really bad if you rub against it. Anyway he was driving in a taxi to a certain "town" with the cutting grass running along the edges of the entire road, so there was no way anything could get out of the way from the road because of the grass.

The taxi driver got to the top of a hill and turned his car off and was just rolling down the hill with no noise. The substitute asked him what are you doing? and he didn't say anything. He heard this buzzing noise on his left side, he looked there and there was nothing there, then it was on his right side, he looked and nothing was there, while he was still looking to the right, he hear it to the front of him, so he looked forward and there was the Dook Dook bird. 

The taxi driver stopped suddenly before he hit the bird, and he held his head down on the drivers wheel and covered his eyes. But the substitute got his camera out and took a photo of the bird, without looking at it (so he didn't die from looking into its eyes) and when he did look up he saw it run to the edge of the road and go through the grass that would of cut him to death.

He found out later on the reason the taxi driver didn't answer him was because if the dook dook bird heard you coming he would appear, and he did because the substitute asked, "what are you doing" so he heard them coming.

He showed us all the photo of the picture in his book that he wrote, but the picture was perfectly centered and you couldn't see the edges of the car or anything, so whether this story if fake or not? but it gave us all a scare. the photo was queer.
