A Ghost Saved My Life

I was nine when a ghost saved my life. 

I moved from the central coast to a small town called Denman. My parents rented a house where the previous owner had lived and died. 

The owner kept his dogs in my room and it always had this weird smell. Anyway I was sitting on the top of my bunk bed one day and I went to reach for one of my books and get down on the bottom bunk because I had so many blankets and pillows there that you could fall from the top of a 10 story building onto them and not feel a thing. 

Suddenly I heard this growl and I slipped on a bar and fell. All of a sudden, just before I hit the ground and broke my neck I felt a force tip me on my back and my mattress corners lifted slightly by themselves and all of my blankets fell right where I landed so I didn't hurt my back. 

Just before we left Denman to go back to the central coast I said "who or whatever you are thank you for saving me" and then I heard a voice say "you are welcome. Have a safe trip." and then I left I never forgot that day and I don't think I ever will. 

This happened for real but if you ever experience anything like this don't be afraid. And there will always be someone out there who will believe you.
