Sparky Knows

I was walking down the road with my dog named Sparky.

Sparky immediately started barking at something. I could see something in the distance, but it was too foggy to see the actual "thing". Then Sparky suddenly ran, dragging me along behind him.

 I started screaming, because I didn't know what he was running to. (stupid, I know). 

I got so close I could finally feel its breath. I was still screaming my head off, unable to think or speak. All the sudden, there's a huge flash, and something whispers in my ear "close call...but wait till next time...." 

Freaky, huh?
