The Little Ghost Girl

Ok, this happened when I was about 9 or 10. It was midnight and I had had a nightmare. When I get scared I go downstairs and sleep in my parent's room. Only my mum was here this time.

Anyways, I was walking from my room which is upstairs to my mum and dad's room which is downstairs. I turned around three corners going down and when I got to the bottom of the stairs, I saw a little girl sitting by a couch in my living room. I wasn't scared at all, I just saw her kneeling on the floor in a little white dress with bows and lace, her hair had little curls in it and she wore a hay hat with a bow on it. I walked up to her thinking it might have been my sister, and I called my sister.

When I got closer, like, two inches away from her, I reached out to touch her hat and I froze. I just got sooooo scared all of a sudden. I ran to my parent's room and stayed with my mum.

I had tried to convince myself it was a statue my mum had bought for our garden. In the morning we went into the living room and I said, "Mommy, where's the statue?"

She said "What statue?"

I sort of shut up. I told my best friend at the time about it and she said it must have been Bloody Mary. We had a mirror in our living room, and they way I was told to do it is spin around three times in the dark. Most people make it sound like Bloody Mary's an adult, but I don't know, so I called her the little ghost girl.

It's been 3-4 years and I haven't seen her since. But when I slept at my friend's house, they got up to go to the bathroom and saw an orange glow. We had just been talking about my experience that night.
