My Friend's Ghastly HomeI am 13 now and this happened to me when I was 12, and this story is about something that happened one night when we ( Amb.,Steph.,Michelle, and I) spent the night at Amb.and Steph.'s house. You may not think this is scary, but it honestly happened to us and it sure scared me. They're used to paranormal things happening in their house, so I'm guessing that this wasn't very frightening to them. Many things have happened, as I have said before, such as them making friends with a ghost boy, having ghosts roam their house that looks like their family, when actually their family is asleep, and having ghosts scream things at night that sounds just like them. But, there are some good ghosts there. For example, one night, I spent the night and Geoff and her brother were messing around with us (and not "messing around" for those of you with bad minds) and joking with us. I put my shirt on the lamp (not my nightwear shirt) to dim down the brightness, and something (we thought it was their grandmother) picked it up and threw it on the ground before anything bad was to happen, like it bursting into flames. Anyway, that's not the story, I'll just get to it. We were sitting on the bed talking, when suddenly we heard laughing, like that of a little girl, only it was multiple laughter, like there were two of them, which there was. Well, almost everyone was asleep and the televisions in their house were turned off, so it couldn't have been a show. We went outside the door and we heard it coming from the laundry room. (and just our luck, it was all the way across their room, which didn't help any because we were all somewhat creeped out) We all walked slowly towards the room and the laughter only got louder. We instantly opened the door and the laughter cut off like a heartbeat. We examined the room for a little while and then we just went back to bed. We asked what that was, and Amb. explained to us that there are little girls that like to jump rope and laugh and sometimes talk. Afterwards, we didn't hear another sound from them. Well, at least not that night. Now, the ghosts have "moved out" of their house now and everything is back to normal. Whenever I go back over there to spend the night, everything is quiet, nothing out of the ordinary, for now at least. Nowadays, I just think back to that night and laugh about it, but the thought of the girls laughter, the way it was so hollow and horrifying, still creeps me out to this very day. And if you guys are reading this story now, I'm sorry, it was just a great ghost story. |
