Not Relaxing in Rylie

My story is a true story that happened when I was a little girl, growing up in a town called Rylie (a suburb of Dallas). 

One night my grandparents were spending the night, and my sister got up and my dad had asked her" What are you doing out of bed? And she replied the phone was ringing and no one was on the line. 

So dad did not think much of it because he thought since she was asleep that she had dreamed the phone had been ringing. 

20 minutes or so had past, and my brother did the same thing, same response, that he heard the phone ringing. Well at this point my dad thought he was losing his mind because he or my mother did not hear the phone. 

2 days later we received a phone call that my dad's sister had past away. This was just the beginning of what lay ahead of us in this house. When I was probably about 10 years old I was fast asleep in my bed and something awakened me by sitting on the end of my bed. 

I was scared to death!!! So I grabbed my blankets and pillow and made a pallet in my parents room. That was the only place that really made me feel as though no one was there. 

Now I am about 16 and coming home from a date and I was getting ready for bed, and an image flew by me and had a flower smell to it. This was the first time that a smell had accompanied the images. So needless to say I was scared and slept in my parents room. 

This happened all the time and the whole family just grew used to it. My family moved and when the ghost knew we were moving it actually hid the car keys to mom and dad's car. 

We left and never found the keys. I drive by there sometimes wandering if the new owners had felt the ghost. The old neighbors stilled remained and they still feel the presence of the image. 

One time they heard glass break and when they checked the entire house they found nothing broken. It appeared to be a friendly spirit after we all got to know that it was there.
