Our Spooky Watcher

My friend and I were 17 years old and sharing a house in Adelaide, at this time we didn't believe much about the paranormal even though most of both of our families had their own stories, anyway, after a few months of strange things happening we started believing!

We had only just moved into the house when my dog Sharna and cat Cola started to act rather strangely like my dog would start jumping as if she was greeting a new comer to the house, and my cat Cola would just all of a sudden get spooked right out and sometimes even leapt as high as our dining table.

There was also another time when my friend suggested making a coffee and I decided to follow and start making our evening meal, she then walked through the kitchen door which divided the lounge room and our kitchen she was talking to me and when I didn't reply she turned to see what was happening and saw me stopped in the doorway with my face squished as if I was holding it against a plane of glass, I had literally walked into nothing. It was around this time that we were getting used to having it around, we just assumed it was male and started calling him FRED.

Another night after a hot summer day I decided to have a cool shower, I went into the bathroom, undressed and went to turn the tap on, as I reached for the tap it suddenly turned by itself, I let out this almighty shriek and grabbed the shower curtain rapped it around me and ran for the lounge room where my friend was sitting, I told her what had just happened and she laughed at me and said "go get dressed I'll turn the shower off." So I went into my room, closed my door just in time to hear my friend come running into the lounge room saying FRED turned the tap off for her.

Later that week we had her brothers over and were trying to tell them that we were living with a ghost but they didn't believe us so we said "FRED if your still here please do something." about two minutes later a noodle packet that had been on the bench in the kitchen came flying into the lounge room where we were sitting (being summer and a hot night there was no wind) the boys said that it was just us playing a trick on them and started to look for a string but to their amassment couldn't find one and totally freaked out.

Til this day he is still watching over us, and every something considered weird happens we just say "Hi FRED."
