Leave the airport traffic
congestion and confusion to your shuttle driver. You only need to
find your hotel, and you can do that the day before before your
trip.
When you arrive at your airport
departure city the day before your trip, you'll avoid many
potential trip delays. In cold weather climates, you're never
assured that a snow storm won't transform a normally simple 90
minute drive into a slippery nerve wracking trek of 5 hours. If
you wait until the day of departure to drive to the airport, heavy
traffic, accident tie-ups or even simple car trouble like a flat
tire take could cause you to miss your flight.
This may sound like naysaying to
some people, but I'll never forget the time my trip to Mexico city
almost ended before it started. The professor had all 40 tickets
for our tour group with him when he got a flat tire. We were all
sitting at the gate nervously waiting for word on why he wasn't
there.
My recent experience involved the Four
Points Sheraton in Milwaukee
and I was absolutely satisfied with the polite attentive service and convenience
provided.
